Vibration Plate
The vibration plate is a machine that sends high-energy vibrations through the body, originating from the bottoms of the feet, and working up the rest of the body.
Vibration plates work by stimulating your muscles at a much higher rate than usual. Benefits of vibration plate include, but are not limited to:
Enhance blood flow
Reduce muscle soreness following exercise
Reduce stress
Aids fat burning and weight loss
Increase flexibility and mobility
Enhance mood
These sessions are typically done for 10 minutes, with options for different sequences. It is beneficial to practice different positions of standing, for instance, hinged forward, knees bent, hips extended, squatting down, etc.
Vibration therapy can be done essentially every day, and is best when done following a training session, or on a recovery/rest day.
